Nick Castellanos' bond with his son

Liam is nine years old and often travels with his father to games to support the Phillies. Castellanos recently hit a home run for the Philadelphia Phillies against the Milwaukee Brewers, leaving his son awestruck.

After Castellanos reached home plate, his son started bouncing up and down. Castellanos pointed at him, and the two celebrated the home run.

The Tigers selected Castellanos at number 44 overall in the 2010 draft out of the high school ranks in Florida. He made his MLB debut on Sept. 1, 2013.

The Tigers dealt Castellanos to the Chicago Cubs in 2019. He inked a four-year deal with the Cincinnati Reds before the 2020 campaign. He was chosen to participate in the 2021 All-Star Game, received the Silver Slugger Award, and made the All-MLB Second Team.
