Paul Skenes and the Pittsburgh Pirates are fresh off back-to-back wins versus the Chicago Cubs. Among the many delighted by his smooth major league transition is his girlfriend, LSU gymnast/social media sensation, Olivia Dunne. Dunne, who discussed how proud she was of Skenes during the broadcast of his debut last week, joined the social media platform Passes at the start of the month.

Dunne took to her Instagram on Friday to share some snaps of her in a sheer red ensemble, where she was vibing to Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams."

Dunne released a statement about her NIL deal with Passes, which Forbes describes as a multi-million agreement:

Olivia Dunne attends SI Swimsuit launch as Paul Skenes leads Pirates to resounding win

On Thursday, Olivia Dunne attended the SI Swimsuit launch party, which included multiple models and big names, including Brittany Mahomes, Camille Kostek and Brooks Nader.

Meanwhile, on Friday, Paul Skenes took the mound for the second time in his MLB career and put in a pitching masterclass against the Chicago Cubs. Skenes struck out 11 across six scoreless innings and looked extremely comfortable in the majors at the age of 21-year-old. He said after the game:

“It’s easier to pitch when you feel good,” Paul Skenes said. “Had a better idea of where my fastball was going.

"It’s not easy to pitch, regardless of the circumstances, but it’s always easier to pitch when you have fastball command because you have to have that. That was the big thing today.”

With the 21-25 Pirates recording a much-needed 9-3 win against their Central rivals while Milwaukee suffered a loss, they clawed one game closer to the competition. With Pittsburgh having won both the games Skenes has started, it will be interesting to see if he can help the team to new heights in 2024.
