Tonight, the Cavs are hoping to finish their season series against the Mavs with a win. However, given that Dallas has a healthy bunch, beating them wouldn't be easy. Their former star player, Kyrie Irving, has been spectacular in the past few games.

Mavericks succumb to improbable defeat after Max Strus sinks 60-foot game-winning shot at buzzer

The game started to get more intense during the final minute of the fourth quarter. With the game on the line, both teams made sure to get the win.

Irving's floater during the final 30 seconds of the fourth quarter put the Mavs closer to the Cavs, with a 118-117 score. With 23 seconds left, the defensive pressure of Dallas took over the game. Josh Green tried to force a jump ball, but Mitchell immediately used their final timeout.

With 9.2 seconds left, Dallas was able to get a defensive stop, thanks to the pressure from Derrick Jones Jr., causing Max Strus to lose the ball. On the other end, Doncic made a smart play by cutting through the defense and giving the ball to PJ Washington.

However, Strus' late-game heroics were the cherry on top. With two seconds left, he attempted a shot from beyond center court and won the game for the Cavs. The shooter ended with 21 points and had 7-12 from beyond the arc.

For the Mavs, Doncic had 45 points, while Irving finished with 30. But that wasn't enough to get them the win
