Animal Well: How to break glass 

By the end of Animal Well, you will run into glass blocks that look a bit different. These are found during the final Manticore boss encounter, and you will need to break these structures in order to gain access to a hidden pathway.

However, breaking the glass wall is easier said than done, and there are many in the community who are quite confused as to how they can go about it. You will not be able to break these glass blocks by yourself, as there is a gimmick to it that comes with its fair share of risks.

Today’s Animal Well guide will therefore go over how you can break the glass as you reach the final Manticore boss.

How to break glass in Animal Well

In order to break the glass blocks during the Manticore fight in Animal Well, you will be required to use the Manticore’s beam itself to break the structure. So when the encounter begins, you will have to position it in such a way that the Manticore fires its laser at the glass and breaks it.

The strategy itself comes with a fair share of risks as Animal Well in itself is a very difficult game, and the boss fight is one of the most challenging encounters. Not only will you have to keep dodging away from the boss' attacks, but you will also have to position yourself in a way that its laser breaks the glass.

This might take a few tries. Once you manage it, the broken glass will reveal a hidden passage that will help you achieve a true ending in Animal Well.

However, do keep in mind that all glass walls are not breakable during the final stage. You can identify the ones that you can break by noticing the slightly different dotted pattern.

The walls that cannot be broken will just bounce the Manticore’s laser right off of it. So make sure the boss aims at the correct wall and don't bait its laser at every glass door you come across.
