Kai Cenat recently completed his six-day Elden Ring marathon, beating the game in about 167 hours. The almost week-long event attracted a huge audience, with hundreds of thousands of fans tuning in to watch the streamer play the RPG. Naturally, the Twitch star had a lot of thoughts about the title and could not help but praise it.

Cenat finished Elden Ring with more than 1700 deaths and noted that even though he died several times, the title was very rewarding. He also used the "Absolute Cinema" quote from the popular Martin Scorsese meme to describe the experience of playing the game:

"This game is a cinema. Although I died multiple times it was very rewarding. I literally enjoyed every boss death. I've never felt some sh*t in my soul like this. I don't know what game compares to this right now. This is an 'Absolute Cinema'."

"I never felt this good about gaming since 2017": Kai Cenat sings praises of Elden Ring

Kai Cenat's journey to finishing Elden Ring was not easy. There were times when he almost broke down after dying to tough bosses. It took him more than 20 hours to beat Malenia. However, he ultimately managed to overcome all of the challenges he encountered.

The marathon took about 167 hours and saw 1700+ deaths. In the end, however, the Twitch star had nothing but praise for the game and could not stop naming things that he liked:

"From the designs of the characters to the little things that you need, to the crafting table, to the round table, to the bosses you've got to fight, to the runes that you have to get, to upgrading, testing which ones use, going back, rebirthing, all of that!"

Kai Cenat also lauded the multiplayer modes in Elden Ring, adding that the game is the best he has ever played in a marathon on stream:

"To the co-op, to the PvP, to seeing random players within your game. To seeing how people die and laugh at it, to see the messages, how funny they were. The weapons, the upgrades. Absolute cinema, 10 out of 10 across the board! This is the best game I have played as a marathon on stream and that's facts!"

Cenat noted that the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC will be released in about a month and reiterated that playing the game made him feel very good:

"Then they are releasing a DLC on top of that, bro. They deserve it, the developers out there are amazing. I enjoyed my time. I never felt this good about gaming since 2017, and I mean that! Now every game I touch after this will be mentally easier for me, do you understand that?"

Kai Cenat's high praise for Elden Ring has led many fans to speculate that he could do a similar marathon for the game's upcoming DLC.
