Reverse 1999 Version 1.5 Phase One update: New banners, events, and patch notes

Reverse 1999 Version 1.5 Phase One update will roll out after the maintenance ends on April 18, 2024, at 10 AM UTC-5. Timekeepers will travel to Australia and meet two new characters in the latest update, titled Revival! The Ulutu Games. In addition to characters, new events, Wilderness Pack, free sign-in rewards, Mane’s Bulletin boss, and Anecdote will be available after the update.

Timekeepers can also obtain two new 5-star and one 6-star Psychubes in the latest update. Since it will be closed server maintenance, Bluepoch will give 300 Clear Drops and two Jar of Picrasma Candy (time-limited).

Below are the details of new banners and their featured Arcanists that will go live in the Reverse 1999 Version 1.5 Phase One update.

The Chirps of the Flame

The Chirps of the Flame is a new limited-time banner that will be available after maintenance until May 9, 2024. It features 6-star Beast-type Arcanist Spathodea and 5-star Mineral-type Arcanist Ulu. Additionally, 5-star Beast-type Arcanist Dikke will also have a boosted drop rate in the banner.

Spathodea and Ulu will be added to the permanent banner in the Reverse 1999 Version 1.8 update.

Yearning of the Water

Yearning of the Water is a new limited-time banner that will go live from May 1 to May 14, 2024. It features 6-star Mineral-type Arcanist, Tooth Fairy and Beast-type, Centurion, and at a boosted drop rate. Timekeepers obtaining a 6-star character from this banner will have a 70% chance the summoned unit will be one of the featured ones.

New events in the Reverse 1999 Version 1.5 Phase One update

Revival! Uluru Games is the main event that will be available till May 27, 2024 after the maintenance. The Hard Mode of the main event’s stage will be available from May 25 to May 27, 2024. Timekeepers can clear the challenges and event tasks to obtain Ancient Flame and Clear Drops.

Ancient Flame can be exchanged in the event shop, Red Soil Cave, for various in-game items, such as a new 6-star Reverse 1999 Psychube: Long Night Talk, Gluttony, Unilog, Leap Over Red Sands-themed Wilderness buildings and Islands, Advanced Insight Materials, and more.

The following side events will also be available in the Reverse 1999 Version 1.5 Phase One update:

Red Land Trace: This side event will be available till May 27, 2024. Timekeepers must complete tasks of Hotpots Exploration featured in the main story, unlock the character logs during Revival Journey, and obtain rewards.

Companion’s Journey: The side-event, Companion’s Journey, will be available until May 27, 2024. Timekeepers must complete the main event’s stage, RUG. 09, to repair the Fire Totem. They can obtain the Eucalyptus Pod by playing the main event, which triggers and enhances the Blessing effect.

Reunion of Fires: Reunion of Fires is a side-event featuring Spathodea’s character story that will be available until May 9, 2024. Timekeepers must complete RUG 15 of the main story to participate in the event. They can obtain Growth Materials and Clear Drops by completing the stages.

New Anecdote: The Anecdote game mode will feature the 5-star Reverse 1999 Arcanist, Dikke. Timekeepers can play her story, The Long Night Singing Its Dirges, from April 29 to May 13, 2024. Players who complete the In Our Time chapter can play the Anecdote. They can obtain two new 5-star Psychubes, Let’s Set Sail and Take the Hard Journey, and more as rewards.

Harvest Season: Harvest Season is a sign-in event that grants limited Buildings and Clear Drops to players who log in to the title for seven days. Timekeepers completing Chapter 1, Stage 1 of the main story, can claim the freebies.

Mane’s Bulletin: A new boss, Hypothesis of Exhibition, will be available in the Reverse 1999 game mode, Mane’s Bulletin. Timekeepers must complete In Our Time to challenge the boss, who will be available from April 25 to May 30, 2024. They can obtain LF Polarization, Thoughts in Eternity, Insight Materials, and Resonance Materials as rewards.

Collection of Uluru: The first part of the Collection of Uluru will be available after maintenance until May 9, 2024. It is a sign-in event that grants seven Unilogs to players who log in to the title for seven days.

The Game News: The side event, The Game News, will be available till May 2, 2024. Timekeepers must complete the Reverse 1999 main chapter In Our Time to participate. They can obtain Clear Drops and Growth Materials by playing the event.

New Characters in the Reverse 1999 Version 1.5 Phase One update

Two new characters will debut in the Reverse 1999 Version 1.5 Phase One update. Below are their details:

Spathodea

• Rarity: 6-star
• Afflatus: Beast
• Role: DPS

Spathodea’s Skills

• Basic Skill 1: Little Boxer (1-target attack)
• Basic SKill 2: Ignition Point (Self-buff that grants various status effects)
• Ultimate Skill: Flame Within the Fire
• Inheritance: Flame Flower

The new Reverse 1999 DPS character, Spathodea, brings a new status effect, Burn, which reduces the healing the enemy receives.

Ulu

Ulu’s Skills

• Basic Skill 1: Opening Ceremony (1-target attack)
• Basic Skill 2: Beating Heart (Mass attack and debuff)
• Ultimate: Indomitable Fire, Scorching Heart (Mass buff)
• Inheritance: Fire Worship

Ulu can also act as a healer in Reverse 1999 and recover allies' HP after upgrading her Inheritance to Insight I. The healing effect triggers when she attacks enemies under the Burn status effect.

Reverse 1999 Version 1.5 Phase One update patch notes: Optimizations and miscellaneous updates

Bluepoch has also optimized some aspects of the title and fixed some bugs in the Reverse 1999 Version 1.5 Phase One update. Below are the details:

System and other Optimizations:

• Team name customization function added.
• Optimized the expiration reminder effect for Cellular Activity recovery times. The items nearing expiration will be consumed automatically.
• Optimized the red-square reminder effect in the Roar Jukebox.
• Optimized the Battle Intel display effect in battle.
• Optimized L2D display effect of some characters and some texts.
• Optimized the damage number display effect of Genesis damage for other characters except 37.
• Optimized Skill and Portrait descriptions for some characters.

Bug fixes:

• Fixed the abnormal color in Ms. NewBabel’s dress of Creator of the New Era L2D.
• Fixed the improper display of some characters appearing on the main interface.
• Fixed some text issues.

A new Roar Jukebox will also be available in the Reverse 1999 Version 1.5 Phase One update until May 27, 2024. It features an exclusive Theme Garment for Dikke: The Pointy End Up. Players must unlock the Roar Jukebox’s Collector’s Edition to claim the Garment.

A new Wilderness theme pack, Leap Over Red Sands, will also be available at the Wilderness shop after the maintenance till May 30, 2024. Moreover, a new Garment series, On the Red Land, will be available in the Garment Shop until May 30, 2024.

The new outfits include Ace Through the Badge for Reverse 1999 character Tooth Fairy and The Leap of Wolf for Pavia. Timekeepers can also browse the in-app store for new Reverse 1999 Version 1.5 Phase One themed packs that will be available after the maintenance.
