Max Verstappen's partner and supermodel, Kelly Piquet, recently shared a heartfelt message about the Israel-Palestine conflict, saying that she will continue to advocate for peace despite receiving death threats on her Instagram account. She has been equally vocal as Lewis Hamilton regarding this conflict and has mainly empathized with the common people of both nations and how they are suffering the most.

On her Instagram story, she recently wrote a long and emotional piece about suffering Palestinians in Gaza and how it is separating parents from their children and vice versa. She also extended her thoughts towards the hostages kept by Hamas but expressed her happiness that four of the hostages were recently released. Despite that, the conflict has not stopped.

Kelly Piquet wrote:

"I can't stop thinking about all pain, suffering, mourning, trauma, shock, despair that the Palestinians in Gaza are living through right now. To imagine all the young innocent souls that have been lost, entire families wiped out, parent-less children, and parents who've had to hug their dead children."
"I'm also thinking about the hostages that are in the hands of Hamas, and thankful to see that four of them have now been safely released. But the images and videos I am witnessing daily from the horror happening in Gaza is beyond comprehension."

Furthermore, the Red Bull star's partner addressed how she has been receiving all kinds of death threats and hate comments in her Instagram DMs and wants the senders to simply unfollow her. Kelly Piquet even declared that her follower count and brand deals are not more important than a life she could save by advocating peace by all means.

"Instead of coming in my DMs with your death threats, highly abusive language, and obscene pictures, UNFOLLOW ME. This is not a conflict, this is a genoxide. My follower count or brand deals are not more important than a life I could be saving by advocating to stop this. And neither are yours!"

This shows how committed Kelly Piquet is to using her massive reach to spread peace and raise awareness about the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Kelly Piquet on similarities between Max Verstappen and her father, Nelson Piquet Sr.

Kelly Piquet recently spoke about similarities between her partner Max Verstappen and her father, Nelson Piquet Sr. She stated how both have their feet firmly on the ground and stay humble. They are also not afraid to say what they feel and are not interested in fame or material things. In an interview with the Dutch edition of Vogue magazine, she said:

"He remains so humble, he has both feet firmly on the ground. What I really like is that he knows what he wants and he is not afraid to say it. He is confident and not interested in fame or material things. We have a lot in common, are bon vivants. I realise more and more how similar he is to my father."

Kelly Piquet has now been with Max Verstappen for three years.
