With the summer transfer window approaching, Real Madrid reportedly have two big potential signings in Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappé and Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies on their list. With such expensive signings on their way, Los Blancos might consider clearing up both space and resources.

Real Madrid's 34-year-old Joselu is reportedly set to receive a substantial offer from Saudi Arabia to join the Saudi Pro League this summer, as per Marca. The offer will reportedly include a huge contract for the forward along with a significant fee for the club.

Joselu joined the La Liga giants in 2023 on loan from Segunda División club RCD Espanyol de Barcelona. He also played for Los Blancos in the 2011–2012 season.

Although the Spaniard has scored 13 goals and provided three assists this season, he has been seen more in a substitute role. His contributions have been overshadowed by the performances of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Brahim Díaz, especially with Carlo Ancelotti's usual preference in the 4-4-2 diamond formation.

Joselu's loan contract with Los Blancos expires on June 30. Earlier, the forward spoke about his future at the club and said (via Tribuna):

"I hope to stay with Real Madrid on a permanent deal. I had a clause that if Espanyol went down, I could go out on loan. And well, Madrid had the opportunity, they thought it was convenient to be able to trigger it. And here I am."
“Well, there’s a contract, an option to buy, Madrid can buy me in the summer. There are many situations, if Espanyol doesn’t go up, if they do go up. A lot of things that can happen," Joselu added.

There have been no official statements or announcements about a potential transfer from the 34-year-old forward, Real Madrid, or the Saudi Arabian outfit.

Real Madrid boss approves of Xavi's decision to continue at Barcelona

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has agreed with Xavi Hernandez's decision to remain at Barcelona. Back in January, the Catalan manager announced that he would leave the club at the end of the season.

The club have been urging Xavi to continue and after a recent meeting with the club hierarchy, the former midfielder changed his decision. Revealing the reasons behind the change of mind, Xavi said (via GOAL):

"You know that I am a very big Barcelona fan and I always try to do the best for the club. The most important thing is to think about the institution. When we met with the president I put my position at his disposal, but I saw that I enjoy great confidence from the president, the sports area and the entire board."

Following Xavi's recent announcement, the Los Blancos manager shared his opinion and said (via Eurosport):

"I think Xavi has done a good job at Barcelona. He knows the club very well and it seems to me to be the correct decision to stay. We have to respect that people can change their opinion. It's not in writing. How many times have I changed my opinion in my career? It's allowed."

Real Madrid are currently on top of the La Liga table with 81 points while Barcelona are in second place, with an 11-point difference between the two La Liga giants.
