Outlasting players in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is a skill unlike any other. It's the culmination of good strategy, God-tier loot, perfect-aim, and several such factors. Even bush camping can be considered a tangible means of surviving until the very end of a match.

That said, using every advantage and trick in the book to survive will be helpful for the task at hand. Players must reach the top-25 of those remaining in the match.

Four useful tips on how to reach the top 25 players remaining in a match in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

1) Find a safe place to land

While there's no 'safe' place as such to land in Fortnite (considering it's a battle-royale game), Lonely Labs is a rather calm area to make landfall. Given its unique predisposition, players can also complete two other Creed Quests in the POI. They can catch a Chicken, throw Off-Road Tires and flip an overturned vehicle. That said, landing here should be a breeze in most instances.

2) Find weapons/items that suit your playstyle

Once on the ground, the first thing to do is secure a mid-range weapon and max out Shield Points as soon as possible. Use Shield Potions and even Slap Juice to complete this as soon as possible. Only engage opponents if needed or if they are attacking you. Otherwise, focus on collecting items/weapons.

On that note, depending on your preferred playstyle, find a weapon that's well-suited to you. For those brave enough to hold their own in battle, try to claim the Capture Point in the middle of the POI. They provide high-tier loot and will give you an edge in combat.

3) Spend Gold Bars to get the right Reality Augments

Aside from gear, reality Augments are another important aspect to keep in mind and monitor. Since they work with the principle of RNG (Random Number Generator), players will have to spin them using Gold bars to find the perfect set of Reality Augments.

To survive (potentially thrive), acquiring Reality Augments that synchronize with your playstyle and loadout is a good idea. Mobility Reality Augments such as Soaring Sprints and Aerialist will be useful no matter the situation. Players can use either or both of them in conjunction to swiftly and safely maneuver out of danger.

Other, more aggressive Reality Augments, such as Tactical Armory and Bloodhound, can be used to turn the tide of battle. However, with the end goal being survival, Reality Augments such as Chug Gunner and Splash Medic are the best bets.

4) Strategize and rotate via high ground to stay safe

Even after having the best weapons/items and the perfect combination of Reality Augments in-game, they will fail to produce any result with a proper strategy. That said, players have to decide when to fight and when to take flight. When to hide and when to engage the enemy head-on.

These tactical decisions will make all the difference in how long a player will survive and help them reach the top 25 players remaining in a match. On that note, another major tip to remember is rotation via high ground.

While this can be done on any terrain, securing high ground at the edge of the safe zone is crucial to staying alive. From here, players can rain bullets on opponents below or crouch and stay out of sight.

Note: Playing Solo or Duos is the best way to complete this Creed Quest.
