Ever felt like owning a part of "OG" Fortnite? Well, thanks to the amazing Item Shop rotation today (January 15, 2022), players can purchase Renegade Raider (or at least a variant of her) for just 200 V-Bucks.

However, there is a small catch. The skin will only cost 200 V-Bucks if certain parameters have been met. That said, here's how to get the Renegade Raider 2.0 skin for just 200 V-Bucks.

How to get the Renegade Raider (Blaze) skin for 200 V-Bucks in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

For readers wondering if there's a secret trick or glitch involved in the process, that doubt can be laid to rest. The only requirement is that players should have taken part in the Reboot Rally event that occurred in Chapter 3 Season 4.

Those who managed to earn 200 points were rewarded with cosmetic items that were part of the Renegade Flame Set. With Chapter 4 Season 1 well underway, the developers have now added those cosmetic items from the Reboot Rally of Chapter 3 Season 4 into the Item Shop today.

Those who have all the cosmetics from the Reboot Rally will only need to spend 200 V-Bucks to obtain the skin and back bling when purchasing the Renegade Flame Bundle.

Since the skin is part of the Renegade Flame Set, it can be purchased at a discounted price when buying the Renegade Flame Bundle. Here's a brief recap of how to purchase Renegade Raider 2.0 for 200 V-Bucks:

  • Own all cosmetics from the Reboot Rally that occurred in Chapter 3 Season 4.
  • Go to the Item Shop before the next rotation occurs and look for the Renegade Flame Bundle (it should be at the very top of the Item Shop).
  • Click on the bundle and purchase it for 200 V-Bucks.

Those who haven't taken part in the Reboot Rally event of Chapter 3 Season 4 won't be able to obtain the skin for 200 V-Bucks. They will have to buy the entire Renegade Flame Bundle at the given price.

Why is Blaze called Renegade Raider 2.0?

Despite Blaze not being the "OG" Renegade Raider, they share a lot in common. Besides the fact that they look extremely similar, the same character model has been used to create both of these outfits.

It's called "Headhunter" and is likely one of the very first character models to have been used in Fortnite. Many other popular skins such as Aura, Astra, Yee-Haw, and even Black Widow have all been created using this character model.

In a way, this makes Blaze and other skins using this character model "OGs” in their own right. To an extent, Aura is by far the most popular of these outfits, and her fame even supersedes that of Renegade Raider based on certain data and metrics.

With all that said, maybe one day Epic Games will bring back The real McCoy and add the outfit to the Item Shop for everyone to purchase. Given that Rambunctious and Tidy were added back for a few minutes before being vaulted again, there's still hope for Renegade Raider in Fortnite.
