Players may not know this, but they can watch replays in Fortnite. The game has an in-built feature that allows you to replay the entire match and watch it from different perspectives and angles. This is useful for formulating strategies and understanding how to play the game better. In fact, most professional players user this feature after every match to study their opponents.

Coaches watch replays in Fortnite as well to train their players and point out any mistakes they made during a match. It allows both parties to streamline tactics and perform better next time around. That being said, here is how to watch replays in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.


Step by step guide on how to watch replays in Fortnite

Load the game and go over to the "Careers" tab. It's easy enough to fins as it wil be located right next to the tab that showcases the number of V-Bucks you have in-game. Once here, click on the "Replays" tab to get access to all the matches you have recently played.

Once inside the "Replays" tab, you can choose which match to replay. Keep in mind that replays can get corrupted and or go out of date when a season ends. You can play an Unsaved Replay, but it's best to save it if you need access to it later on. When ready, click on an any replay to access it.

Once the replay has been booted, you will be able to watch replays in Fortnite. You will be able to look at their from different angles, spectate other players, gain access to map information such as postion of all players and density of them at each POI.

As mentioned, this is very useful for studying a match and gaining valuable insights into what could have been done better. For casual players, there is more to do than just analyis things.

You can disable the HUD and take beautiful screenshots without any UI being present. Depending on your game settings and capability of your GPU (like RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti), you can take 4K screenshots as well.

Lastly, you can also watch replays in Fortnite to spot and report hackers. At times, it's not possible to see them during a match since they are hacking. This can then be used to alert Epic Games and have them banned.
