DP World Tour Qatar Masters: Schedule, venue, top players and more

DP World Tour players will be heading for the upcoming tournament, DP World Tour Qatar Masters. It's an annual tournament that usually takes place towards the end of the year.

DP World Tour Qatar Masters was first held in 1998 with Andrew Coltart winning the inaugural edition of the event. He registered a two-stroke victory over Andrew Sherborne and Patrick Sjoland. It was initially called Qatar Masters before being renamed to Commercialbank Qatar Masters in 2006.

Adam Scott and Paul Lawrie share the record for most victories in the tournament, having won it twice each. Ewen Ferguson won the 2022 edition with a one-stroke win over Chase Hanna.

The 2023 edition of the Qatar Masters is scheduled to take place from Thursday, October 26, and will run throughout the weekend to have its finale on Sunday, October 29.

DP World Tour Qatar Masters venue

The 2023 edition of the Qatar Masters will take place at Doha Golf Club in Doha, Qatar. It is an 18-hole, 7,374 yards long golf course, which was built in 1997.

The tournament has been taking place at the Doha Golf Club since its inception. However, in 2020 and 2021, it took place at the Education City Golf Club in Rayyan, Qatar.
