Lee Hodges 3M Open tee times: Day 1 leader’s Friday tee time and pairing explored

Lee Hodges ended Day 1 of the 2023 3M Open in the lead. The 28-year-old golfer shot to the top of the leaderboard by carding a bogey-free 8-under 63. The golfer beat the likes of Hideki Matsuyama, Brandt Snedeker, Tyler Duncan and Kevin Streelman to take the early lead at TPC Twin Cities.

Hodges, who entered the week having missed the cut in three of his past four tournaments, looks confident to stay in the top 10 of the 3M Open leaderboard on Friday. The event leader will resume play later on Friday. Hodges will tee off alongside Martin Trainer and Justin Lower at 3:00 pm.

Having got off to a big start at the 3M Open, Hodges will look to maintain the form as he eyes to make the FedExCup Playoffs coming up in two weeks. It is pertinent to note that the American golfer is currently 74th in the FedExCup standings. Only the top 70 will make the Playoffs.

It’ll be interesting to see how Hodges fares this week at the 3M Open under pressure.
