At the 10th annual ceremony for the World Golf Awards held in Abu Dhabi, LIV Golf saw a couple of trophies making their way to the PIF-Backend league. The 54-hole tour won World's Best Golf Innovation for its amazing format and outstanding graphics for TV and internet viewers.

Additionally, it also clinched the World's Best Golf Tournament of the Year for the hugely successful inaugural LIV Golf Adelaide tournament. To share this exciting news, LIV Golf took to their X handle and posted:

“We’re proud to announce that LIV Golf has received multiple honors at the 2023 @WorldGolfAwards
"World’s Best Golf Event of the Year: LIV Golf Adelaide
"World’s Best Golf Innovation
"Thank you to the World Golf Awards and congratulations to all award winners”

The World Golf Awards, which debuted in 2014, are intended to recognize and reward excellence in golf tourism, world-class golf courses, and exceptional golf locations.

These important awards are determined by a combination of votes from golf pros and the general public.

It is noteworthy that these awards came only days after Talor Gooch earned the $18 million top prize for winning LIV Golf's individual season-long competition. Also, Crushers GC captain Bryson DeChambeau won the team trophy in Miami and a share of $14 million.
