First, you need to find either a desert temple, a desert well, train ruins, or ocean ruins in the new update. Only these structures will generate the new suspicious sand or gravel blocks. Remember that if you have discovered old structures, they will not generate the new blocks since the chunk was loaded in a previous game version.

Hence, you must travel far and wide to find these structures where the new blocks will be generated.

Additionally, you will need to craft the new brush tool to help you brush away the suspicious sand or gravel to reveal items. A brush can be crafted by combining a feather, a copper ingot, and a stick in a single row on the crafting table.
