The Minecraft Mob Vote is finally live. Mojang hosts this unique mini-event before its main annual live show, and the entire playerbase gets to vote for one of the three new mobs that they want to add in the upcoming update. This gives the community a chance to engage in the game's development.

People can vote for the new mobs on any device they play the game on. Here is everything you need to know about how to participate in the Mob Vote using the PlayStation.

In recent years, Mojang has gradually shifted the Mob Vote event from their official X account (formerly Twitter) to its own platforms like website, launcher, and even Bedrock Edition.

One of the best ways to take part in the Mob Vote is by entering a special server in the Bedrock Edition, where you can collect unique skin customization goodies, vote for your favorite mobs, and also indulge in fun-filled minigames.

You need to first purchase Minecraft from the PlayStation Store, which will cost $19.99. Once downloaded, log in through your Microsoft account. You will now enter the main menu area, where a Mob Vote section will be visible.

Click on the Mob Vote area to open another page explaining the voting system and allowing you to join the server to vote.

After entering the server, you can explore the custom world and walk straight ahead to see three levers for each new mob, which can be toggled to vote. Of course, you can change the vote anytime you want before October 15 at 1:15 pm EDT, when the voting window closes.
