Minecraft is a game that allows players to create and explore their own worlds using various blocks. Some players use their creativity and skills to build impressive structures and landscapes inspired by real or fictional places. One such player is 'Hibreck,' who recently posted a picture of a stunning castle he recreated based on the horror game Resident Evil Village.

Dimitrescu Castle is a major setting in Resident Evil Village, where Ethan Winters meets Lady Dimitrescu and her three daughters - followers of Mother Miranda’s cult. The castle is a huge Gothic estate with many areas to explore, such as rooms, halls, dungeons, and hidden places. It also has a vineyard, a courtyard, a tower, and a chapel.

Hibreck recreates the original castle from the game faithfully, with a dark and elegant style. He used different blocks and items to make the walls, roofs, windows, decorations, furniture, paintings, and lighting effects. He also included features from the game’s plot and puzzles, such as bloodstains, corpses, keys, masks, and statues.

Hibreck posted his project on the subreddit r/Minecraft, where he uploaded 15 images showing different views of his castle. He claimed to have officially completed the building after working on it for three months. Hibreck's post received four thousand upvotes and over a hundred comments as of now, with many users praising his work and asking him questions about his process.

One of the users asked how many hours it took him to build this mansion; Hibreck responded, "3 month". Another user sarcastically said it would take him 10 years to build this mansion on his own.

Some users also shared their experiences and opinions about Resident Evil Village, the game that inspired the castle project. Several members said they loved the game and its characters, especially Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters. While a few Redditors said they were scared or intimidated by the game and its enemies, some said they had not played it yet but were interested in trying it out.

The castle project showed how Minecraft can be used as a platform to showcase one’s passion and talent for building and recreating things from other games or media. It also showed how Minecraft can bring together a community of players who share their creations and feedback with each other.

Hibreck’s castle is not the only example of Minecraft players building amazing structures based on other games or media. Some other examples are Hogwarts from Harry Potter, Minas Tirith from Lord of the Rings, Rapture from Bioshock, and Hyrule Castle from Zelda. These projects show how Minecraft can be a creative tool to express one’s imagination and passion.
