Minecraft Championship (MCC) 31 is in the books, and the battle between ten teams and 40 content creators brought another exciting event to its satisfying conclusion. Over the course of eight minigames, teams collected coins for their side to rise in the rankings. The top two teams then competed in the iconic game of Dodgebolt to determine the final champion of the event.

Although each team clearly gave their best effort, only two teams progressed to the final Dodgebolt showdown. Specifically, the Green Geckos and the Red Rabbits faced off, with the Red Rabbits ultimately taking the MCC 31 crown.

In many respects, the Dodgebolt minigame serves as a second chance for the second-best team in Minecraft Championships to win the event. This is more or less what occurred for the Red Rabbits, as they couldn't manage to outscore the Green Geckos in the coin race but still had the opportunity to win the championship due to their performance in the Dodgebolt round. Despite being outscored 21,376 to 19,496 in the final coin total, the Red Rabbits managed to overcome the Green Geckos in the final Dodgebolt match by a razor-thin 3-2 margin.

However, the Red Rabbits still had to rank in the top two coin totals to reach the final showdown in this Minecraft Championship, and that required a top-tier performance from the team's members (Jojosolos, Shadoune666, OllieGamerz, and Captain Gato). Jojosolos and Shadoune666 led the way for their team, earning 2,663 and 2,344 coins, respectively. Three of Red Rabbits' members also ranked in the top five players for the Survival Games round, vastly assisting the team's overall coin total.

The Green Geckos seemed to be the frontrunners for much of Minecraft Championship 31, with Purpled and Wallibear performing in astounding fashion. However, the Red Rabbits managed to overcome the Lime Llamas by 974 coins, placing them in the perfect position to have the chance to defeat the Green Geckos, who up until that point, looked like a near-lock to win the championship. However, they would still need to win the Dodgebolt game, which didn't look particularly easy considering the white-hot run the Green Geckos were enjoying.

Truth be told, the Dodgebolt battle wasn't an easy one in the slightest. Minecraft fans watched as the deciding match in the championship went back and forth. The Red Rabbits secured the first round of the match, but the Green Geckos won the second. The Rabbits resurged in the third round but were met with a win by the Geckos in Round 4, setting up a pivotal Round 5 that would decide the entire championship.

All four members of the Red Rabbits displayed their clutch genes with masterful aiming in the final round, ultimately crowning the team the champions by a remarkably narrow margin.
