Tyson Fury fires off an ominous warning to Oleksandr Usyk ahead of undisputed clash

Tyson Fury is taking his historic undisputed fight against Oleksandr Usyk very seriously and recently made sure his opponent knew it. The two boxing superstars will meet in the squared circle in Riyadh this weekend.

While the two were booked for a fight earlier this year, Fury suffered a nasty cut during training, and the clash was postponed to May 18. With less than a day to go for the momentous bout, Fury sent Usyk a chilling warning. During the official weigh-ins, Fury claimed he was gunning for more than just the belts and said:

"I'm ready to rock and roll. You know, fireworks tomorrow night...I'm coming for his heart, that's what I'm coming for. F*** his belts, I'm coming for his f**** heart. He's getting it tomorrow...F*** all his team too. They can all get if they want it, too."

UFC welterweight Gilbert Burns talks about potential Colby Covington fight

Gilbert Burns recently weighed in on the idea of potentially fighting Colby Covington in the octagon. While the Brazilian is eager to return to action, he doesn't see 'Chaos' as a viable opponent.

During a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Burns stated that there were many good welterweight fighters that he could face next. However, Covington was prone to drama and not an option for him. He said:

"I like the fight [with Colby Covington]. I always wanted to make that fight, but it's just too complicated. Too much drama for me. We saw the whole drama with Ian Garry and I'm hearing Ian Garry is supposed to fight MVP [Michael Page] now... If [the UFC] offers that fight to me, I'll say yes, but I'm not chasing it because I know it's a lot of drama to get this guy to sign a deal."

Former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman on Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad

Kamaru Usman recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad welterweight title fight at UFC 304. The former 170-pound king shared his prediction for the fight and backed his old rival to emerge victorious.

During an episode of the Pound 4 Pound podcast, Usman lauded Muhammad's wrestling prowess. However, he explained why Edwards would be too much for Muhammad to handle and said:

"I would say I like Belal, but I think Leon. This is the difference, the sport has changed so much to where guys are learning how to use the cage to get up. It not even really wrestling anymore... Belal Muhammad, I don't feel is a high enough level of a wrestler to take him down at the center of the cage and keep him down there."

Usman continued:

"I think this is a very intriguing fight, but Leon just being the champion and being confident, I think he is going to be sharp."

UFC vet Anthony Smith believes Khamzat Chimaev could beat anyone in the first round of a fight

UFC light heavyweight contender Anthony Smith recently lauded Khamzat Chimaev for his grappling prowess and claimed the Chechen-born fighter could beat anyone in the first round of a fight.

Chimaev has notably never lost a fight and has dominated most of his opponents in welterweight, middleweight, and a few catchweight bouts. During an episode of the Believe You Me podcast, Smith explained to Michael Bisping why he thought Chimaev could beat any opponent in the opening round of a fight. He said:

"I'm a real big believer in Khamzat; I really am. I think the guy is incredible. But, if we're just being critical, first round, I think Khamzat can beat anybody, across any weight class. I don't give a sh** who it is. Anybody in the world, he can beat in the first round."

Chael Sonnen firmly backs Michael Chandler to beat Conor McGregor at UFC 303

Chael Sonnen recently weighed in on the highly anticipated Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler bout at UFC 303 in June. The UFC veteran shared his prediction for the fight and backed the former Bellator lightweight champion to win.

During a recent interview with Bloody Elbow, Sonnen explained why he believes Chandler would beat McGregor and pointed out that the Irishman has been out of action for a long time. He said:

"Michael Chandler wins, you have the most disciplined guy in the sport, arguably. You have the most undisciplined guy in the sport for sure and it's one of those situations where when you do this conversation, everybody's going to be lazy like I'm going to be right now and say Conor's got a puncher's chance, and if Chandler stands up with him, so on and so forth.

Sonnen continued:

"I don't know where you got that idea of puncher's chance, I know that's something fun that people say... There's no such thing as a puncher's chance. The better guy wins, he wins every single time and Michael Chandler could go out there and box with Conor at this point. You don't get better at something by not doing it."
