Ryan Garcia recently accused Eddie Hearn of being the orchestrator of his multiple drug test failures following his victory over Devin Haney on April 20th. Hearn, who operates as Haney's co-promoter, was accused of the same thing by Gervonta Davis in the wake of Garcia's drug test failures.

The Matchroom Boxing chairman was recently captured sharing a face-to-face discussion with Garcia in Saudi Arabia.

'KingRy' claimed that he would try to punch the Brit when he saw him in public, but according to Hearn, Garcia attempted to "squash the beef" between them when they met.

He reflected on the interaction during a recent interview with iFL TV, where, despite tensions having cooled off, the boxing promoter shared a warning with the talented fighter.

He said this:

"I actually did expect him to pipe up. I walked into the VIP and he went straight up to me and went, 'Hey, let's squash our beef.' I said to him, 'That's cool.' I'm not bothered about the punching-thing, I'm more bothered about you saying that I set you up."

Hearn continued:

"I said to him, 'You do know that's the most ridiculous thing.' [He replied], 'Yeah well someone set me up!' I said, 'Well, they didn't. And I certainly didn't.'... He's frustrated, when you're frustrated you say stupid things... You've got to be careful what you're saying here, because it's not a good look for me, you telling people that don't understand boxing what you're saying."
