A chaotic scene unfolded outside Rogers Place following Game 6 between the Vancouver Canucks and the Edmonton Oilers. According to a video shared by YEGWAVE on X (formerly Twitter), a Canucks fan was knocked out during a brawl that erupted outside Rodgers Place.

The video depicts a heavily intoxicated Vancouver supporter engaging in disruptive behavior and antagonizing Oilers fans, which led to the altercation.

Witnesses reported that the Canucks fan, who had been drinking excessively, was aggressively "taunting" those around him. When a random nurse attempted to assist the unconscious fan, he reportedly told her,

"I've been knocked out before."

Additionally, it was noted that the fan had urinated himself during the incident.

The fight, which occurred just outside Rogers Place, was allegedly initiated by the erratic actions of the Canucks supporters. The Edmonton Oilers, facing the prospect of their season ending, managed to push their second-round series against the Vancouver Canucks to a decisive Game 7.

The Edmonton Oilers secured a crucial 5-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks in Game 6 of the Western Conference Second Round, tying the series at 3-3.

The game will take place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Monday. Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse emphasized the importance of focusing on the upcoming game with a fresh mindset.

“It was a really good game on our part, but all it did is buy us one more game and an opportunity to play on Monday. You just have to approach it as a brand new game and take it one game at a time. We showed up today, worried about one, and that kind of has to be the same approach in Game 7,” Darnell Nurse said (per NHL.com).

Edmonton needed a strong performance to avoid a repeat of last season’s second-round elimination.

Connor McDavid, who had three assists in Game 6, noted the expected intensity of the Game.

“The series has been so tight, so hotly contested, I was thinking it was going to be the same, and I thought we played well. I’m sure Vancouver doesn’t feel great about their game and they’ll be better for Game 7, just like we didn’t like our Game 5 and we were better in Game 6. I expect both teams to elevate heading into a big Game 7, obviously,” McDavid said.

Leon Draisaitl reached 100 playoff points, becoming the third-fastest player to achieve this milestone. Evan Bouchard and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins each added a goal and two assists.
